Programme leadership

Oversees delivery across all six programme areas — from the Kinawataka Demonstration Garden to school partnerships — and coordinates field officers across Nakawa Division.

Finance & Compliance Officer

Finance & governance

Manages OBOIVU’s books, donor reporting and URSB / NGO Bureau compliance — keeping grant reporting and statutory filings on schedule.

Urban Farming Lead

Demonstration Garden

Runs training at the Kinawataka Demonstration Garden — organic methods, IMO, and climate-resilient techniques — and trains the trainers who take these skills back to their own plots.

WASH & Sanitation Officer

Water, sanitation & health

Leads public toilet construction, KCCA clean-up exercises, and community health outreach — working directly with Kampala Capital City Authority on drainage and sanitation.

Community Mobilisation Officer

Outreach & engagement

Organises the Community Youth Parliament and household-level outreach across Kinawataka — the first point of contact for new households joining a programme.

Girls’ Education Officer

Education & dignity

Runs reusable sanitary pad training and Passport To Success life-skills sessions in partner schools, working with Live Love Learn Hamburg on the girls’ dignity programme.

Communications Officer

Communications & reporting

Documents field work, manages partner relationships, and keeps the annual report and newsletter on schedule — the voice behind OBOIVU’s news updates and donor communications.
